Official Rules & Fantasy Ranking Calculation logic 

It is advised that each contestant go through Game rules & Fantasy ranking calculation method carefully before joining any paid/free contest on the platform. 

1. Official rules for a contests - Following rules must be adhered by each player while playing the contest 
   1. Users above 18 years can play quiz contest
   2. Each quiz will start at a specified date & time as mentioned in the contest card
   3. Each quiz will have maximum duration till which the contest will be open for all contestants
   4. Each quiz will feature a number of questions which is mentioned categorically on contest card
   5. Each quiz will have maximum marks which can be scored by contestants if they have deep knowledge about subject/topic and remain committed to time management
   6. The questions will appear from the list of subjects/topics mentioned in quiz reference section which has complete list explicitly mentioned
   7. The Questions will appear in the language as mentioned on the contest card. Contestants are free to choose any language of their choice
   8. Each question will appear in the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format
   1. The question will appear along with 4 options and only one of the four options will be correct.
   10. All questions will appear on the user’s device screen.
   11. The winners are chosen based on the final marks as mentioned in point 2 (c)
   50. There is no human interference in choosing the winner for a contest, it is based on an AI model.
2. Official Rules for calculating Fantasy ranking for a contests - Following are the list of factors involved for calculating ranking of any contest
   1. Each question has 3 tags with it
      1. Marks obtained when it is attempted correctly

      3. Marks deducted when it is not attempted by contestants
   2. Time to join the quiz - Each contest has a specified start date & time. Contestants are expected to join the contest at the specified date & time. If a contestant is not able to join at specified time then
      1. Grace period - There is no penalty if the contestant has joined the live contest within 30 seconds after the contest has gone live. E.g. If a contest is expected to start at 9:30:00 PM on 05 Jun 2023, No penalty will be levied to contestants if they start the contest by 9:30:30 PM on 05 Jun 2024. But if they join after 9:30:30 PM on 05 Jun 2024 then penalty will be levied.

1. 1. 2. Penalty calculation logic - Once a contestant has missed grace period for joining the contest, contestant will be penalized for delay in each second. The deduction logic is as follows

Contestant contest started time = Time at which player has started contest once contest is live
Contest start time = Time at which contest has started 
Grace period = duration till which no penalty is levied
Max marks = Maximum marks one can achieve in a contest 
Max duration = Maximum time allowed for contest

Suppose if a contest

1. 1. 1. 1. is starting at 9:30:00 PM on 05 Jun 2023
         2. is of Max duration i.e. 30 mins
         3. is of Max marks 45
         4. Grace Period : 30 seconds post contest has started

Now if Contestant has joined the contest at 9:30:45. she/he has joined the contest 15 seconds post grace period is over hence penalty calculated will be

= 0.375 Marks

   3. Final marks calculator for each contestant -
      Final marks = Marks obtained for correct attempt - Marks deducted for incorrect attempt - Marks deducted for not attempting any question - Penalty levied
   4. Ranking for the contest - Final ranking will be published based on Final marks obtained by the candidates and it will be descending order.
   5. Winning amount distribution - Based on contestant ranking, contestants will be awarded winnings amount which will be credited to their balance.
